Wroclaw, One of the cities we stopped by in Poland. You could say that we picked this city at random. In truth, we had never heard of it until Monocle mentioned it in passing.
A former ghost-town of Poland. University town, filled with students. In the buffer zone between Germany and Poland. Apparently, frequented by many Korean + Japanese businessmen and families.... All these things poured into one city seemed to guarantee a dynamic and interesting enough experience for us to squeeze in a stop-over. (Now you know how we may have planned our travel itineraries...)
With 36 hours there, and not much idea of what to expect, here's the sum of our experiences. A major thing that stood out about this city - the quality of light!
