Stockholm: in all its sweetness

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Here's the last of our series on Stockholm. We visited Skansen, a depiction of Swedish life and country before modernism and industrialisation.

And geez!! Guess what we saw?!!!
A reindeer right in front of our very eyes. Antlers and all! Just as Santa promised.

Fine, this may be a norm for some of you, but for someone from the Southern hemisphere, this is one rare moment! Stuff of story-books really.

Oh yes, the free roaming squirrel was an extra bonus too. Yea, we really loved it.

Stockholm: take it to the streets

Monday, May 24, 2010

Do we really need to point out the amount of style that Stockholm has on the streets?? Here is a brief collection of snaps showing the city through our eyes in the short time we spent there. Get ready to see the streets, the people, the shops, the food, the public transport and the traffic, cycle traffic.

Stockholm: to cleanse your palette

Friday, May 21, 2010

This time we are going in reverse. We're starting from the end. From the last stop of our travels - Stockholm.
N.B. As you may have guessed, this blog is gonna be taken over by travel photography for the next lil while. Hope you will find this inspiring.

Honestly, our first impressions of Stockholm was, how clean, friendly, stylish and somewhat efficient everything seemed to be
(must take the Arlanda Express). We'll give a
first taste with a serving of our favorite details and textures to whet your appetite.
