You quench my thirst.

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Boy, your eyes and ears are in for a treat today. Understand, we're not music bloggers. But, nevertheless we love music. So we thought it'd be fun to compile our list of the top 10 albums released in 2010. Yes, this album list will be biased. Biased to our current moods, the sounds we want to hear now.

Like many of you, we're also obsessed with discovering and exploring, to fulfil our different aural and visual desires. So together with these 10 albums are 10 works from some of our favourite photographers/photography blogs. They capture such sensitive and delicate moments that keep us running back for more. Here's a tasting platter. Hope you enjoy. Let us know what you think. Maybe share what your top 10 for the year would be with us too?

Love this to bits! Can you help but be totally and utterly inspired by this work!!?!? Cecilia Carlstedt's skills have been displayed in an ever expanding list of magazines. We've been particularly in love with her crisp colour tones and the psychedelic bleeding effect of the ink. Always will be a fan of such fine pencil work and the fun unfinished twist... gives a real authentic touch

Imagine, if ever Vogue would turn the clocks back and show a whole issue using a of mix pencil, photos, ink and photoshop... we can only dream.

P.S.- luv the- 'chuck' heel in the last one... nice touch

Amazing!! Where is this place ? I wanna ride on the roller coaster, sleep in the greenhouse and play hide-n-seek in the forest! Dope! These stunning images are digitally composed as part of the "Museum of Nature" series by Finnish artist Ilkka Halso. Its ironic that we find these landscapes so powerful and serene yet they do not reflect nature per se but the human footprint over it.
