powder blue woollens

This is, in truth, a default. Without thinking, a first response to cool weather, I reached for the oversized woollen jumper with a colour that almost denies it's autumn. Apparently after summer comes spring again. We've never been ones to prepare or plan, just put on what we feel. Woe is me, when I can no longer reach for my summer go-to's. Quickly realizing all I want to put on is just more of what I have in summer - but in winter-version. Is that so difficult?

I need a pair of those underground creepers. LOVE them. You always have the most serene air about your photos that I love.

It's hard for me to think of dressing for fall right now in the Northern hemisphere, but I think this sweater is beautiful for every season. And I just love your contrasting manicure!

"Simplicity is the most diffucult of all concepts" said Oscar Wilde. And you pull it off, as always.
Just reaching into your closet and wearing whatever you feel is very cool & courageous, it`s the "effortlessness" that designers like Marc Jacobs admire. This outfit of ours could easily be in the current catalogues of Monki, H&M, Cos etc.

Shall I now congratulate you on being part of "Zeitgeist"?
Nah, I rather keep cultivating my escapism into (fashion-)visions that have nothing to do with reality.

Love, Jen

PS: Love your courage & self-esteem though! It takes "substance" to face the world "without mask & armour"!

i love every still ground in the mood of your images. and there i spot some mix of different nail shades between every fingers. so i guess amidst the cloudy grim mood, there's always something out of expectation behind the scene. that is how your blog is. wonderfully unexpected and yet so neat!

Love the colour of your knit as well as the slightly bubble fit at the bottom. And I agree with you about the default thing during cool weather. Also, loving the moss, white, light gray colors of your nail polish. Looking chic and neat as always, beautiful photos too :)

I've been pleasantly surprised by the weather lately too, it doesn't feel so close to winter. LOVING that sweater, it reminds me of the wang one. x

Love the colour of your knit top and paired with that simple skirt, so chic as always. Plus the neutral colours of gray, moss and white polish added so much character to this ensemble. Love the photos as usual. :)

Very sober and soothing... as you are saying good-bye to the summer, we are getting ready for her. Hence goes the world. Seasons and fashions. All have their place. Good-byes remain emotional.
