During New Zealand Fashion Week, I was given the opportunity to hang out backstage for the Zambesi show. This is a complete first for me and I had such a wonderful experience.

When I think backstage, I think: tension, stress, snappiness and a rush for time. But it was contrary, the atmosphere was completely chillax. Models hung around eating, chatting, reading and getting their hair and make up done. It was kinda like a warm-up party.

But the most amazing thing is being able to see the models really wear the clothes, dance, pose and lounge around in them. You could tell they truly enjoyed it.
