I've got to admit it, we don't exactly have a history of liking Sydney very much. Maybe we were jaded and drained by the one side of Sydney we continuously saw on our many trips there. This feeling remained whenever someone suggested moving there.
But this trip has opened up a whole new side of this city - a side we potentially see eye to eye with - suddenly it seems more like our kind of place. Newtown, Surry Hills, ikea, catching the trains, wandering the streets, and even had the pleasure of meeting some interesting and down to earth people.
