The spring in your step.

Thursday, September 2, 2010

So apparently its no longer winter but spring in the southern hemisphere. Never been ones to let the 'official' seasons dictate the way we dress. We live in Auckland afterall, good old all-four-seasons-in-one-day is what we're used to. On the threshold between autumn-winter-spring-summer.

Bless us, this means as Spring cracks down on us, we find ourselves still completely inspired by this editorial. Ambi-seasonal. (Although, thanks Spring, we really do appreciate the magnolias and cherry blossoms that have been popping round town).

P.S. It's not just because it's ambi-seasonal (btw. you heard that word here first) that we love this. It looks unpretentious, effortless, real. What we pretty much see is photos of a strong woman with a kick-ass amount of personality. Reminds us of Lauryn Hill + Felicity (here we go again...). And, She wears the clothes. NYC is an added bonus. As is the H bag.

I like how this isn't too 'try hard' or 'sexy'. It looks good how she is just looking around going about her daily business.
