What day is it today??? Setting the alarm for 9. Going to bed at 3. Slept through the alarm... two days in a row. Promising myself to sleep early the next night - but this never happens. The hours after midnight is my peak! Anyone else having the same problem??

We have big plans for the blog - if only we had more hours in a day - its ok, we'll get there. Bear with us please.

I have been pretty obsessed with this outfit for the last few weeks - it maybe something about mixing prints with scattered kaleidoscopic embellishing, or maybe at the chance of wearing something that has such a close resemblance to pajamas: my sleep robe and flannel pants or just the fun of blinding someone with my disco lights and eyesore of clashes. Count yourself lucky that you don't live in the same area as me. And if do, drop us a line next time.

We found this velvet jacket in a little vintage store in Budapest. And a big thank you to Time Out for doing the hard work and writing an article all on vintage shopping in Budapest. We hit most of the stores mentioned and boy, did we wish we had a bigger luggage allowance and more Hungarian forints. Great selection of Russian scarves, folk blouses and 70s dresses! We managed to go through a hard process of elimination and brought home a few mementos - what we consider the cream of the crop. More on Budapest later on. We'll be sure to include a vintage shopping guide.
